This Berkey water filter is the only Stainless Steel Berkey water filter that meets the California certification requirements and is available to ship to California.
Due to California certification regulations only three Berkey Water Filter models are approved by the manufacturer for shipment to California - this is the Travel Berkey Filter approved for California.

The Travel Berkey water filter system purifies treated water and untreated raw water from sources such as as lakes, streams, stagnant ponds, water catchments and other untreated sources. Perfect for everyday use and a must in hostile environments or disasters where electricity or treated water may not be available.
The Travel Berkey filter removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. It also reduces nitrates, nitrites and unhealthy minerals such as lead and mercury. The Travel Berkey Water Filter is so powerful it can remove food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.
The Travel Berkey water filter has a storage capacity of about 1½ gallons.
